The MSA Research Leader
Our Mission is to Offer Hope through Research
WHAT IS MSA
Multiple System Atrophy Multiple, or MSA, is a rare, degenerative neurologic condition that affects both men and women, usually starting in the 50’s or early 60’s. MSA is considered a type of parkinsonism but with more widespread effects on the brain and body.
WHO WE ARE
As the oldest MSA charity, and the only one with a scientific advisory board, the Multiple System Atrophy Coalition supports those living with MSA. We also take the lead for funding research for a cure through donations, awareness and the support of all in our community.
HOW WE HELP
We offer hope for a cure to the patients and families living with MSA while funding vital research. Our Annual Conference and Support Line connects the MSA community while our advocating at the grassroot level and in Washington helps the cause become a national priority.

We exist to support people like Alan and Rocio. Watch their story of how MSA connected them to others and how they’re planning on paying it forward. Then visit our YouTube channel for more inspiration and information.
DO YOUR PART
As a grassroots organization, we need everyone affected by MSA to join the fight.
