MSA Angels MemorialPay Tribute to a Loved-One Lost to Multiple System Atrophy
Multiple System Atrophy has taken so many lives from our community. We’ve lost husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, friends, and neighbors to this rare neurodegenerative disease. One beautiful way to honor their memory is by creating an online memorial and fundraiser for the loved one you lost. Not only will you have a lifelong digital memorial to share the memory of your loved one, your memorial will act as a fundraiser where people can donate to the MSA Coalition bringing hope to current and future patients and their families.
Sharing a memorial is a reminder that you are not going through this grief alone. The MSA Coalition and our community of patients and families are here to support you. We are touched by the stories and memories of loved ones lost, and we are here to provide you with a place to share those stories and memories.
Create an Online Memorial Page
The MSA Coalition has partnered with a platform that provides all of our community members with a free memorial and fundraising tool. Through this platform, you can set up a dedicated online MSA Angels Memorial page in tribute to your loved one. This page is completely customizable where you can share personal photos and text describing your loved one’s life or wonderful memories you have with them. Each memorial page has its own unique link making it easy for you to send the memorial to friends and family.
This platform seemlessly incoporporates a fundraising component to each memorial page, and anyone you share your page with will read the beautiful story of your loved one’s life and feel moved to donate to our mission. You can smile knowing that the money your memorial raised – the memory of a wonderful life – will go on to help fund research, support, education and advocacy for this disease. Every dollar you raise brings hope to MSA patients and families.
Honor a Loved One
Your donation to The Multiple System Atrophy Coalition helps us continue to support our community of patients and families who struggle with this disease. The Coalition has been advocating for patients with MSA for decades, and while we have made incredible strides in raising awareness and funding research, there is still much we need to understand about MSA in order to provide better treatments and one day find a cure.
You can choose to celebrate the life of a loved one by making a donation in their memory to The Multiple System Atrophy Coalition. Many families request that donations be made to our organization at funerals or memorial services instead of sending flowers. You may wish to provide copies of a printed memorial donation form at the memorial service.
